Al-Qaida Backs McCain

The Associated Press reported, not more than 15 hours ago, that Al Qaida has released a statement on the al-Hesbah Website supporting a McCain presidency. The message went as far as saying that it would consider a pre-election attack against the U.S. to help McCain win.

"This requires presence of an impetuous American leader such as McCain, who pledged to continue the war till the last American soldier," the message said. "Then, al-Qaida will have to support McCain in the coming elections so that he continues the failing march of his predecessor, Bush."

I wonder how this would have gone over if al-Qaida had backed Obama? I can only imagine.
