The Fate of Elmer J. Fudd

Joe Lieberman's fate is now in the hands of Democratic Senators who will vote by secret ballot whether the Conneticut Independent should be stripped of his Homeland Security and Government Affairs Committee chairmanship and his spot on other committees, like the Armed Services Committee. The vote is a result of Lieberman's aggressive support for John McCain whereby he accused Obama of being too inexperienced and dangerous to lead America. The problem as I see it, isn't so much that Lieberman supported John McCain, but that he gave so much blind irresponsible support to a Republican agenda that has left America weak and vulnerable on many fronts, domestic and foreign. Let us not forget that it was Lieberman who voted in lock step with a Republican majority while at the same time threatening Senate Dems that he would not support their agendas if he did not get what he wanted. So for that, I say Lieberman can go to hell.
